Senior Football - FA Charter Standard Club

The Grammarians Football Club was formed in 1968 and is the Club with the longest unbroken FA affiliation within the town. It has recently achieved FA accreditation by way of the Charter Standard Award, given to only a small number of Clubs throughout the county and nationwide. The Club has two sides competing on Saturdays in the Northants Combination League and one side in the Rushden and District Sunday League.
To celebrate the club's 40 years in existance a reunion dinner was held at the Memorial Sports Field last September. For a full report on the reunion dinner including pictures please click here.
August 2009 saw the completion of the our new dug outs to the side of the main pitch, for more information and pictures please click here.
If you wish to be kept in the loop for any further Club events please contact our Chairman, Steve Cheney via e-mail steven.cheney@tiscali.co.uk or leave a message at the Headquarters, Oxford Steet.
