Rugby

Wellingborough Old Grammarians Rugby Club was originally formed for former pupils of Wellingborough Grammar School to continue playing Rugby Union after the age of sixteen, it is the oldest sporting section within the Old Grammarians Association. The club has now become an "open" club for anyone wishing to play Rugby in the Wellingborough district.
The Club is also proactive in introducing young people (Boys & Girls) to the game of Rugby Union and instilling the ethics of the sport, whilst making it enjoyable and fun.
Mini and Junior rugby is a thriving area after extensive development, with currently 3 teams performing regularly at different age levels from Under-11 to Under-15. As part of the ongoing development, Ogees members visit and liase with schools, arranging workshops to meet curriculum requirements.
